Dr. Calvin Mackie has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the recovery effort, assisting the Governor in providing the vision, creativity, and leadership to identify, prioritize, and address the short- and long-term issues of recovery from Hurricane Katrina. This 26 board member groups is made up of a cross-section of Louisiana natives whom are well respected Leaders and citizens.
