"On
behalf of the Georgia Tech community, thank you for all you do to make
a difference in the lives of many people"
Robert G.
Haley
Director, Special Projects
"This
presentation still reverberates, motivates, and presses me toward relentless
effort. Dr. Mackie zeroed in on specific action for moving all young
people toward embracing their own profound capacities to achieve.”
Jenny Oren
Krugman
Executive Director of The College Board’s Florida Partnership
"I
am impressed with your attempts to uplift the lives of inners city youth.
It helps to have positive role models to give our children a vision
of a better world for themselves and their peers."
Kurt L.Schmoke
Mayor of Baltimore
"I have heard many speakers speak about confidence, motivation, and
self-esteem. Today was the first time that I experienced the feeling
that [someone] really cared about the direction that I will take in
life."
Student

"I was overwhelmed. Such knowledge, enthusiasm, and charisma from two
young African-American males are the type of stimulus our community
needs. The spirit and the combined voices . . . are invaluable and long
overdue."
Wanda Pierson-Jeter
Coordinator
Georgia/NASA Space Grant Consortium Atlanta, Ga
"In my twenty-six years in education, I have never seen students so
attentive and attuned to a speaker. To say that they (and the staff)
were mesmerized is an understatement! You were everything they said
you'd be and more. To steal from their vernacular, you're certainly
A all that!"
Dr. Shirley C. Kilgore
Instructional Coordinator
South Atlanta High School
"Channel ZerO needs to be nationalized, i.e., institutionalized. Young
professionals around the country seeking purpose should have Channel
ZerO at their disposal so that they can give back to our children the
knowledge, gifts, and love they have received from significant others."
Dr. Morris F. X. Jeff
Director
Department of City Welfare, New Orleans, La
"Measured from the responsiveness of the students and parents
you indeed made a valuable contribution. Whether the audience members
were high school or college students, professionals like yourself are
incredibly important role models. We cannot thank you enough for sharing
a precious day with us"
Keisha Phipps
Management Team
Summer Engineering Academy
"First,
I have to say thank you for the message you presented. I know in my
heart that the Lord brought me to your workshop on Saturday. I had been
going through some serious things in my life. Anyway, to make a long
story short since I know your time is valuable, the best thing I did
that entire convention was attending your workshop and listening to
your word, in addition to purchasing your CD. It has touched my heart
in a way that you will never understand. I have listened to the CD at
least 15 times since Sunday (it is playing on my computer in office
as I type - I probably could deliver your message as much as I have
listened to it and internalized it). Speaking of the CD, I need an address
to send you some money. The message touched me so much that I had to
make a copy and send it to a dear friend of mine. To bring this whole
point to a close, I just wanted to say thank you for living your dream
and touching the lives of our people. I got away from doing that since
I joined Corporate America. "
